Whether you book
directly with us or use a travel agent for your holiday requirements,
here a few helpful hints that will ensure that your holiday
is a great success.
seasons
Whether it be hotel
accommodation (athens and beyond) or a cruise - sometimes
it is good to ask when the season changes - you never
know, by delaying your trip or bringing it forward a
few days - you could save money!
transfers
When visiting a foreign
country, it is always worth that little extra to have
a private taxi waiting to pick you up at the airport
(or take you). For shorter distances, it may be better
to ask the concierge / hotel reception for assistance
- they can also pre-arrange with the taxi driver the
amount to be paid.
get prepared
It is always a good
idea to check out the actual website of the hotel and
/ or cruise line that you will be staying / travelling
with - it can ruin your entire holiday if you are shown
a photo of a suite only to discover that it is nothing
like the standard room you actually paid for!
family of
4
or more
There are not many
hotels in Athens that have rooms which can accommodate
a family of four or more - check this out - some hotels
do actually have family rooms - always ask if this option
is available.
vouchers
Don't leave home without
them and always check to make sure that all services
you actually paid for are clearly stated - don't get
stranded.
visa
Certain nationalities
require a Multiple Schengen Visa (especially when cruising)
- check with each Consulte of the country you will be
travelling to.
